TEA Meeting Report

DARKE T.E.A. PATRIOT
October 5, 2010   MEETING REPORT
A Prayer presented by Mike Stegall and the  Pledge of Alligiance to our Flag with NO sound amplification started this very enthusiastic but brief meeting.  The meeting was brief because a number of the Patriots left at 7:00 P.M. to attend the Greenville City Coucil Meeting at 7:30 P.M. in City Hall.
The content of an email from Mercer County regarding the Death Tax Petition and the fact that the Ohio Secretary of State has issued the dates for acceptance of Petitions and Referendums at the beginning of the calendar year and the current petition is of zero value this year was rapidly reviewed.
The DARKE T.E.A. PATRIOTS Signs are available for all of Darke County
Mike Stegall presented his position regarding being a more accessable County Commissioner if elected and answered many critical questions following his speech. Mr. Stegall’s response to the first question asked was enlightening.  The question was essentially, can you say NO to the State or the Federal Government if your NO might have a fiscal penalty. The answer was “YES” but only after a patient in depth study and evaluation of the details.
The final subject of the evening was an excellent School Committee report by Tomas Subler. Part of the report delt with the differences in teacher to student ratios in the schools in Darke County. Additionally, the unique differences in the ratio of non teaching administrative staff to students was mentioned but allowed to remain with a large question mark.
The General Election (28 days away) –GET INVOLVED!
The next meeting will be      next tuesday
@    6:00 P.M.     OCTOBER 12, 2010.
