Darke TEA meeting tonight

DARKE T.E.A. PATRIOTS
AGENDA TUESDAY 10/5/10

This agenda is for the Tuesday Night Meeting October 5, 2010.
6:00 P.M.        Prayer and Pledge
Ø  Mission Statement

There are 28 days until the November 2, 2010 General Election!!!
How can we really make a difference??

In Darke County – attend County Commissioners’ Meetings, City Council Meetings and School Board Meetings.  Monitor and be active writing letters and tracking local elected officials actions and conduct. The only election that we can impact now is the County Commissioners’ single position to be filled.

In Ohio State – The slate of State Offices and especially the Senate and House elections.  But, if we work hard to get out the vote and take a stand on who we support it will make a difference in Darke County and we can only hope that the other Tea Party and Liberty Groups in Ohio also work toward the same goals.

Conclusion – we have four weeks of working hard and we can make a difference!!!  And then continue to work hard to track Darke County Elected officials.

Discussion Items:
  1. I will be leaving the meeting at 7:00 P.M. to attend the Greenville City Council Meeting.  The main topic is the John Graham issue concerning housing of newly released felons with a record of sexual harassment. Would anyone like to join me?
  2. Christine O’Donnell –Would anyone like to spend a week in Delaware?
  3. What about a week in Arizona in the area south of Phoenix?
  4. Signs – available today.  Who wants a sign??  The list is available up front after the program.
  5. The Glenn Beck program showed a woman who believed that abortion and killing a new born should be a mother’s right.  Question: do you believe that age of the patient is or should be a significant factor in the treatment prescribed by the Doctor or authorized by the government?

I would like to have the opportunity to attend but the TEA party is going to have to tell us where they meet.

Duly noted with apologies. The location has been published in previous articles, but definitely should always be repeated. All meetings are held at 6 p.m. at the Lighthouse Christian Center off Hwy 127, south of Hwy 36.
