Township thanks Key Club for service
Greenville Township Trustees thanked Greenville High School Key Club members for their cemetery work on Friday with pizza, pop and a tour of the township EMS and fire department facilities on Friday.
Trustee and commissioner elect Mike Stegall spoke to the group briefly, thanking them for their efforts. Trustee Ron Klosterman and Cemetery Sexton Doyle Delk joined them on their tour, conducted by firefighters Allen and Nancy, and daughter Tonya, Keaser.
Township mascot Rage also participated in the tour.
Key Club member Courtney Fullroth was the leader in having her blood pressure checked and trying on the protective gear firefighters had to wear. Other club members included Pankti Bhavsar, Vice President Angela Borgerding, Aubrey DeVoss, Makayla Freeman, Abby Kindley, Prital Mehta and Treasurer Claire Sherman.
So far this summer and fall, Key Club members had volunteered more than 200 hours working on cemetery projects for Greenville Township.
