From Rasmussen Reports…

Wednesday, November 24, 2010
More Americans are choosing to avoid the crowds this holiday season by shopping for gifts online.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 64% of Adults say they'll do at least some of their holiday shopping on the Internet this year.
That number includes two percent (2%) who plan to do all their shopping online and 14% who say they'll do most of their shopping that way. Another 14% believe about half of their gifts will be bought online, while 34% say at least some will be. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
Thirty-five percent (35%), however, say they will not go online for any of their holiday shopping.
This time last year, 56% of Americans said they'd do at least some of their shopping online, but 42% didn't plan on it.
In December 2006, nearly half of adults (49%) said they did not plan on doing any holiday shopping over the Internet.
