GHS Key Club collects and delivers between 300 and 400 pounds of food to FISH
Key Club Trick or Treat for FISH a success… again
“Trick or Treat for FISH!”
“What?”
It’s Trick or Treat Day on Oct. 31. Key Club President Kent Holmes explains that they are collecting food to donate to FISH. Almost without exception, Greenville residents went inside and brought out boxes and cans of non-perishable food items for the students to take.
A questioning look as the students took their wagon and moved on to the next house…
“They’re Trick or Treating for FISH.”
By the end of the day, twenty members of the Greenville High School Key Club, along with help from some members of the GHS Student Council, collected between 300 and 400 pounds of food for FISH.
Key Club officers Prital Mehta, Secretary, Angela Borgerding, Vice President, and Claire Sherman, Treasurer, delivered the food to FISH on Monday.
FISH is a local food bank that provides food items for families in need throughout the year. Trick or Treat for FISH has been an annual project of the GHS Key Club for years.
