Adams elected to Ohio House

Richard Adams Elected to the Ohio House for the 129th General Assembly

Columbus—State Rep. Richard Adams (R-Troy) has been reelected to serve as the state representative of the 79th Ohio House District during the 129th General Assembly. He will be sworn in on January 3, 2011.

“I’m honored and excited to have been elected to represent our community in the next General Assembly,” said Rep. Adams. “There is much work to be done in the state of Ohio, and I look forward to working intensively to create jobs and build our economy.”


Rep. Adams is currently serving his first term in the Ohio House of Representatives. He is a member of the Unity National Bank Board of Directors and previously served two terms as Miami County Commissioner. He has a long history as an educator, having served as a high school teacher at Northwestern High School, vice president of Clark State Community College and founding superintendent of the Upper Valley Joint Vocational School.
