The Darke County Republican Men’s Club will be holding its annual ‘Meet the Candidates’ event Saturday, Oct. 16, at 8 a.m. in the Private Dining Room of Brethren Retirement Community.
Invitations have been extended to all candidates serving Darke County, including candidate for Commissioner Mike Stegall; Jim Zehringer and Richard Adams, Ohio Representatives; Bill Beagle, Ohio Senator; Carol Ginn, Darke County Auditor; Kelly Ormsby, Darke County Prosecuting Attorney and John Hein, Court of Common Pleas Judge.
Invitations have also been extended to state and federal candidates, including John Boehner, 8th District U.S. Congressman; Rob Portman, United States Senator; John Kasich and Mary Taylor, Ohio Governor and Lt. Governor; Mike DeWine, Attorney General; Dave Yost, Auditor; Jon Husted, Secretary of State; Josh Mandel, Treasurer; Justices Judith Ann Lanzinger and Paul Pfeifer, Supreme Court; Maureen O’Connor for Chief Justice Supreme Court; and Mike Hall and Mary Donovan, Court of Appeals.
If candidates, due to schedule conflicts, can’t personally attend, their local Campaign Chairs will have an opportunity to speak for them.
