Research group says repealing health care reform would be ‘job killer’ and cost 250,000 jobs.
A national nonpartisan research group says repealing health care reform would destroy more than 250,000 jobs over the next decade.
The new U.S. House of Representatives leadership, including House Speaker John Boehner, R-West Chester, has proposed to repeal President Barack Obama’s health care reform law — the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 and the subsequent Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010. The legislation guarantees health insurance coverage to all Americans and promotes significant cost reductions in public and private medical care programs.
