COLUMBUS – State Representative Richard Adams (R-Troy) today was sworn in for his second term as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives. He will continue to serve as state representative of the 79th Ohio House District during the 129th General Assembly.

“I’m grateful that the people of the 79th District have chosen me to continue representing them in the Statehouse,” Adams said.  “Although this is a challenging time for Ohio, I will do all that I can to ensure that we get back on the road to success.”

Adams is a current member of the Unity National Bank Board of Directors. He previously served two terms as Miami County commissioner. He also has a long background as an educator, having served as a high school agriculture instructor for Northwestern High School, vice president of Clark State Community College and founding superintendent of the Upper Valley Joint Vocational School District.
