Congratulations to Darke County Seniors

Hundreds of Darke County Seniors have finally wrapped up years of hard work and are headed for new horizons. I’d like to congratulate the graduating seniors from all local school districts. Your parents, grandparents, friends and communities are proud of you.
Many are graduating with honors… National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, Summa Cum Laude, and multiple well-earned scholastic honors and scholarships.
This is in addition to participation in a variety of sports programs, agricultural endeavors, high school and community service clubs.
Oh, and many of them held down part-time jobs while they were at it.
Makes me tired just to think about it.
I’ve been privileged to work with many young adults in various activities, and would like to give them special recognition. These kids are tremendous. They are talented, hard working and are going to accomplish great things in their lives. I hope we can offer them the opportunity to do those great things right here in Darke County. Good luck, seniors!
